The Veho Smartfix is a complete stand-alone scanner with 2.4” preview/review LCD screen with a removable lithium-ion rechargeable battery and comes with a USB charging cable, making this scanner completely portable.

The fast one touch scanning makes it easy to bring those old pictures back to life. The instant preview and built-in auto-exposure/colour balance ensure that the pictures come out their absolute best. PC and Mac compatible and supports up to 32GB SDHC (class 10) card not included.

  • Q: Which SD card is compatible with the Scanner?
    Answer :
    • 1.Supports cards with up to 32GB SDHC, use a class 10 card but no higher than class 10.
    • 2.SD & SDHC cards are supported.
    • 3.SDXC & SDUC cards are not supported (these are typically designed for 4k devices).
    • 4.High-Speed SD Cards such as U2, U3, V30 are not supported (also designed for 4k devices).
    • 5.Using a Micro SD card in an adaptor will not work.
    • 6.Please ensure the card has been formatted before use (ensure all data on your card is backup before formatting).
    • 7.Always use a well known brand of SD card to ensure reliability.
  • Q: Can I transfer the images I've scanned onto my pc?
    Answer : Yes, once you've saved your images on to your SD card, remove the card and place it into your PC directly, or a via a suitable SD card reader.
  • Q: Can I operate the scanner whilst charging it?
    Answer : Yes, the scanner is capable of operating whilst charging.
  • Q: Will the Smartfix scanner take slides with cardboard frames?
    Answer : Yes, it takes slides with cardboard or plastic frames.

  • Q: Is the Smartfix scanner compatible with my computer operating system?
    Answer : The Smartfix scanner is a stand-alone device and doesn't need to work with PC, your images are stored on an SD card.
  • Q: How long does it take to scan a single negative/slide?
    Answer : The scanning of the negative/slide takes no more than 2 seconds.
  • Q: Do you remove the slides from there card or plastic holder to scan them?
    Answer : No, you shouldn't have to remove the slides from their holders; they will fit into the compatible tray supplied with the scanner.
