Questions?

  • Q: Which microSD card is suitable for the Muvi Drivecam?
Answer : We recommend using a Class 10 microSD card from a reputable brand such as Samsung, Toshiba, Kingston, Team, Transcend or SanDisk High Endurance.
  • Q: How does the Parking Mode work?
Answer : If the Drivecam G-Sensor does not sense movement for 10 minutes, it will enter parking mode automatically; recording will continue if movement is sensed. Users can manually enter parking mode by pressing the “menu” button when recording.
    • 1. Low Resolution Mode: The Drivecam will keep recording videos in parking mode (10mins/file). The videos will be recorded in a lower resolution to preserve memory and battery life.
    • 2. Time Lapse Mode: The Drivecam will keep recording videos (2mins/file, 200ms/frame). The video will be recorded in high quality, with fewer frames per second.
    • 3. Detect Mode: The Drivecam will enter standby mode, recording will be triggered through motion detection and G-Sensor movement. Video quality and frames per second will remain the same as set by the user. The camera will record for 45 seconds once triggered, this is not including 15 seconds before and 30 seconds after the video.
  • Q: What should I do if a video file corrupts?
Answer : We recommend formatting your microSD card at least once every two weeks, this will ensure invisible memory is cleared and also reduce the risk of file corruption. Formatting the card will completely wipe all data from the card, ensure that any files you wish to keep are saved externally.
